Getting the most out of Stitchtrove

Getting the most out of Stitchtrove

Welcome to Stitchtrove, a new online community for cross stitchers.

My name is Amy (she/her) and I'm building this online hub for cross stitchers, which is now officially in beta after six months of planning and development.

What's this all about?

I've been cross stitching for just over six years and the biggest problem with the hobby is that the online world of finding and purchasing patterns is a total minefield. I want to create a hub where anyone can upload patterns to share or sell, that are easily searchable by theme, size, artist and even the coloured threads required!

At this current stage Stitchtrove has the following features:

  1. Share free cross stitch patterns hosted elsewhere/on your own website
  2. Share free cross stitch patterns that you host with us
  3. Create a personal inventory of DMC or Anchor threads
  4. Create a personal inventory of fabrics
  5. Create a project journal to keep track of your works in progress
  6. View a "shopping list" of threads you mark as needed
  7. Browse/search a collection of over 80 cross stitch patterns
  8. Create a personal profile and share text and image status updates

How you can support Stitchtrove

I have big plans for Stitchtrove and a lot of new features are currently in the planning stage ready for development to start.

Stitchtrove is free to use and its current features will always be free, however, for it to grow it needs support.

The cheapest (and totally free!) way to support Stitchtrove is to create an account and start sharing your cross stitch journey on your profile, this will help grow the community.

If you are feeling generous and want to financially support the development of Stitchtrove you can do so on our Patreon.

What happens next?

During this beta stage, Stitchtrove needs feedback, I'd love for you to create an account and explore the features available.

Any feedback (good or bad) can be sent through this form and will be read by me personally.

Thank you so much for your interest in Stitchtrove ♡
